The Town of Forest City and Grahamtown Team are hosting Movement Fest & Back2School Bash on Saturday, August 2 from 10am-2pm at POPS! Movement Fest & Back2School Bash is our initiative to improve the health and quality of life of youth and adults in Rutherford County. Our goals are to:
• Showcase the availability of healthy options in our county
• Provide contact information about each agency to the community
• Give information about activities that are available throughout the year
• Connect with parents to make them comfortable with healthy offerings
• Promote healthy eating and active living to young people by showing them how to establish good habits early
Vendors will be set up throughout the park offering different activities that promote wellness and healthy living. Join us for vendors, freebies, inflatables, activities, and more! Come check out all of the amazing healthy opportunities that are available in Rutherford County!
Support the school supply drive!
Through July 30, we are accepting school supplies for the supply drive. Items include pencils, pens, loose leaf paper, folders, binders, highlighters, crayons, glue, notebooks, erasers, rulers, scissors, composition books, colored pencils, and pencil sharpeners.
